Whitney's going to Mexico!
Dear Family and Friends,
I hope all
is well with you and your family. As you
may know, I have been assisting with the youth at Rainbow Forest
Baptist Church
this year and have worked with the two year old children for several
years. I have been praying that God
would provide an opportunity for me to go on a mission trip. He did!
This trip will be my first one out of the country, and I am very excited
to see how the Lord will use me.
He has opened the door for me to go on a short-term mission trip to Galeana, Mexico wit Rainbow Forest Baptist Church from July 12-20th. We will be working with a Mexican pastor that lives in Galeana and he will be taking us to various remote villages. We will be doing ministry through Vacation Bible Schools, construction projects, medical outreach, sports evangelism, our youth band, drama team, hands team, puppet team and our dance team. I have been working really hard for almost a year training on my ministry team. I also am taking several additional training classes to prepare for the trip. Many teenagers in Mexico are lost and desperately need the light of Christ. We want to be a light to those who are in darkness, as well as an encouragement to those who already know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Read more »
Brandon's going to Africa!!!
Dear friends and family,
I wanted to take a moment
and tell you about my desire and something I feel God has laid upon my heart
for me to take part in. Well, as many of
you know, last year I had the opportunity to go on a mission’s trip to Uganda,
Africa, and it was a great blessing to me and it is something I will never
forget! There I had the privilege to see
many souls come to Christ, and even got to lead my first person to Christ! The feeling you get from that is just
unexplainable, and its something anyone who goes will never regret. But as I was there with Rick Via Ministries,
we saw over 2,000 souls come to know Christ, in a Gospel-hungry nation, who are
just so receptive to hear the Gospel and we also treated many ailments in our daily
clinics. And once I got back into America,
I wanted to go right back to Uganda, because I just fell in love with the
people and just enjoyed working for God and it almost felt like my home was
there in Uganda! Read more »
